This has got to be the most important consideration when installing any type of powered door. While some installations leave a lot to be desired, we at Tayside Automatic Doors pride ourselves in putting safety first before all else.

We have in fact turned work down, simply because the client had specific ideas and those ideas did not comply with BS 7036.

This topic cannot be emphasised enough! We, as installers, have an obligation, not only to ourselves and you the customer, but also to the general public

We will make sure that all our installations comply with current regulations. On arrival to site we will carry out a risk assessment and a hazard analysis of the proposed installation.

Our first thoughts are for safety, then customer requirements, along with projected traffic flow. We will collate that information and present it to the client for approval; specifically detailing any area that we feel may compromise safety.

While our engineers are carrying out an installation they are well aware of and have indeed undertaken Health and Safety courses and First Aid courses, this all adds to us being a thoroughly professional company and therefore any risks are identified quickly and addressed.
